Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q:  What are the check-in and check-out times?

A:   Check-in is between 3:00 - 6:00 PM (if you will be arriving after 6:00 PM, we ask that you let us know as it will help us plan).  If you arrive before the designated check-in time, we would be happy to store your luggage until your room is ready.  The check-out time is at 11:00 AM.  

Q:  Do you have a policy for minimum nights?

A:   During high season we typically have a 2 night minimum, but depending on availability we can be flexible and accommodate 1 night bookings.  Please call (416-988-4921) or email us (, and we will do our best to accommodate you.  

Q:  I can't find the dates I'm looking for, what should I do?

A:   Please call or email us directly if you can't book the dates you're interested in, and we will do our best to accommodate you.  

Q:  Why should I book directly with Greenview?

A:   By booking directly with us (online, phone or email), we can help to personalize your visit, offer greater flexibility with modifications, and accommodate special requests.  And we also offer guests a special welcome gift!

Q:  Can you accommodate dietary preferences for breakfast?

A:   Yes, the Clubhouse restaurant at Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club offers a variety of breakfast menu selections catering to all dietary needs.

Q:  How far is Greenview Bed & Breakfast from the main street of historic Niagara-on-the-Lake?

A:   We are located in Old Town, 2 blocks (200 metres) from the main street, around the corner from Lake Ontario and within walking distance to major attractions.

Q:  Is parking available?

A:   Yes, each suite has a designated parking spot.

Q:  Do you allow smoking?

A:   We respectfully request that the guests do not smoke inside the house.

Q:  Is your bed and breakfast suitable for small children?

A:   Unfortunately the environment for Greenview is more suited for adults, but we are happy to have children 13 years and older visit.

Q:  Can an extra bed be added to the suites?

A:   Yes, each suite can accommodate a 2nd bed for a 3rd guest.  Please view room descriptions for further details on bed size available.

Q:  What if I cannot climb stairs?

A:   We have 2 large suites located on the ground floor for your convenience.

Q:   Am I able to adjust the temperature of my suite?

A:   Each suite is equipped with individual temperature control for your comfort.

Q:   Is Greenview pet friendly?

A:   To accommodate our guests who have allergies, we do not allow pets.

Q:  I have an electric car.  Do you have offer charging stations?

A:   We offer Tesla charger for your convenience.

Q:   What is your cancellation policy?

A:   As we are are a small bed & breakfast operation, cancellations greatly affect our business.  Guests can cancel free of charge more than 14 days in advance of arrival date without penalty.  If you cancel 14 days or less, 100% of the first night will be charged (for each room cancelled).

Q:  What forms of payments are acceptable?

A:   We accept all major credit cards, debit and cash.
